Sonia Singh tells us she is no hurry to follow her character Dr. Kirti from Star One’s Dil Mill Gayye, as she is happy just with ‘onscreen motherhood’!

In Star One’s Dil Mill Gayye, Dr. Kirti has her hands full more than ever. Now apart from taking care of her naughty interns, she will have to take care of the junior, taking shape inside her. But the lady who brings Dr. Kirti to life- Sonia Singh, is in no hurry to experience the bounty of motherhood.

Sonia says, “I’m happily married and I’m taking life as it comes. Surely, I’m in no hurry to become a mom!”

Apparently, it’s the second time around for Sonia that she gets to be preggers onscreen. She says, “I got to play an expectant mother as Sush in Bhabhi too!”

So what changes can we expect in Dr. Kirti in this season of DMG? She says, “Dr. Kirti was always mature unlike the other young characters in the show. So I don’t know… maybe more mature if there’s room for it. I will be shown as a very conscious person perhaps, because that’s the way women who expect are. They have to take really good care of themselves and be very careful at all times. And as nature’s gift the sense of alertness automatically increases when a woman goes through that phase. So all this could be a part of the new Dr. Kirti.”

Guess the stork will just have to keep circling around Sonia now!

New entries and more twists in ‘Dill Mill Gaye’

Viewers of Star One’s Dill Mill Gaye are in for many surprises. The show is all set to have new entries, interesting twists, a leap of six months and much more starting from today.

Just some time back the show had a heart breaking episode where Dr. Riddhima (Jennifer Winget) and Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) died after meeting with an accident. But for all those who are hooked to the show there is no more need to worry. Both of them will be back in the show.

This twist was introduced in order to bring in four new interns who will enter the show today.
Mouli Sachdeva, Karan Wahi, Neha Jhulka and Sehban Azim are the actors who are selected to play the roles. Those who are currently seen as trainees will be seen as resident doctors.

A close source informs, “Now both the doctors who have met with an accident will not die, but will be seen bed ridden for some days. After a major treatment they will be back on the show and till then the show will allow the new entries to enjoy screen space”.

It was also said that the new entries will take the show forward after establishing themselves and many of the current actors will be dropped. But our source says, “No, this is not true. In fact after the accident there will be a major twist in Dr Riddhima and Dr Armaan’s love story which will be taken forward by both new and old faces of the show”.
But that’s not all. With all these four entries there is one more entry waiting that will bring a change in the lives of Dr. Abhimanyu (Amit Tandon) and Dr. Nikki (Shweta). The show will take a small leap of small months from tonight’s episode.

Priti Amin is entering the show as Dr Abhimanyu’s wife and there will be a major change in the life of Dr. Abhimanyu (Amit Tandon) and Dr. Nikki (Shweta) after Nikki enters.
